Die Houthoop Guest Farm, Namaqualand
Auf unserer Windhoek-Kapstadt-Tour machen wir Station in der kleinen Gästefarm "Die Houthoop", die inmitten weitgehend unbesiedelter Gebiete am Rande des berühmten Naturparks Namaqualand liegt. Hier genießen wir abends am Lagerfeuer fangfrische Hummer, köstlich gegrillten Fisch und saftige Steaks, während über uns der südafrikanische Sternenhimmel leuchtet.
We drop in the remote guest farm "Die Houthoop" ("The woodpile") on our Windhoek-Capetown Tour and reverse. The lodge is situated at the fringe of the famous nature resort of Namaqualand, surrounded by a nearly unpopulated landscape. In the evening, we sit around the campfire and enjoy fresh lobster, grilled fish and juicy steaks under the shining star-studded sky of South Africa.
