Kobo Kobo Hills Mountain Camp
Ein absoluter Geheimtipp ist "Kobo Kobo Hills" im Khomas Hochland: Unsere Gäste kennen die "1.000-Sterne"-Lodge von fast allen unseren Touren. Zebras und Antilopen kommen zur Tränke direkt an die Lodge, am Abend leuchtet das warme Licht von Petroleumlampen und in der Nacht der Sternenhimmel, die gemütlichen Zimmer haben eine Außendusche und sind wie zu Kolonialzeiten eingerichtet - das ist Afrika pur. Zur Lodge gehören auch zwei etwas abseits gelegene Gästehäuser im maurischen Stil inklusive Schlafplatz auf dem Dach und kleinem Pool. Mit dem Landrover erkunden unsere Gäste die Umgebung und beobachten die zahlreichen Wildtiere.
This "thousand stars" lodge in the Khomas Highlands is a real insider tip. Our guests know Kobo Kobo Hills from nearly each of our tours. Antilopes and zebras come near the lodge when gathering at the water hole. In the evening, the warm light of petrol lamps illuminates the chalets, and at night the stars are shining. The lovely rooms are furnished in colonial style and you may take a shower under the open sky - these features surely provide an authentic experience of Africa. Two remote guest houses built in Moroccan style with dormitory on the roof and small pool also belong to the lodge. We are invited to explore the surroundings on a cross-country drive and watch the numerous animals strolling around.
